Software Engineer III in USA new

Responsibilities

  • Write product or system development code.
  • Collaborate with peers and stakeholders through design and code reviews to ensure code quality, accuracy, testability, and efficiency.
  • Contribute to and update documentation or educational content based on product updates and user feedback.
  • Triage, debug, track, and resolve product or system issues by analyzing their sources and operational impact.
  • Design and optimize deep-learning-based machine-learning models that predict user interactions with ad formats across Google ad delivery channels.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience programming in Python or C++.
  • At least 1 year of experience building and deploying production recommendation-system models involving retrieval, prediction, ranking, personalization, search quality, or embeddings.
  • At least 1 year of experience with end-to-end machine learning, including model deployment, evaluation, optimization, data processing, or debugging.
  • Preferred: master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
  • Preferred: 2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
  • Preferred: experience with quantitative data analysis, statistical modeling, complex datasets, or mathematical optimization.
  • Preferred: experience developing accessible technologies.

Benefits

  • US base salary of $147000-$210000, plus a 15% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
