Responsibilities

  • Push and maintain production code for robot coordination, system-state management, and operational workflows.
  • Build and maintain integrations with robot platforms, APIs, services, and data systems.
  • Develop fault-tolerant, fail-safe robotic software and scalable systems.
  • Triage and root-cause warehouse field issues and drive fleet software, integration, and robot software changes.
  • Collaborate with robotics engineers, ML engineers, multi-robot coordination teams, product teams, and warehouse operations.
  • Lead or contribute to design reviews, code reviews, and technical planning.
  • Support warehouse operations in achieving and sustaining throughput goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 2–4 years of experience with production-level coding in C++, Python, or Rust.
  • Experience or knowledge of distributed systems, backend services, API design, CI/CD, AWS, and Kubernetes.
  • Experience designing scalable systems and leading complex technical projects.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • A proven track record of using analysis to influence high-stakes operational and engineering changes.
