Responsibilities

Understand existing architecture and data to improve entity matching results.
Extend matching architecture to support customer needs and infrastructure contexts.
Build entity resolution and matching services for multiple applications, millions of users, and billions of documents.
Drive the architecture and design of scalable, performant, and reliable software solutions.
Collaborate with product managers, architects, and stakeholders on the match algorithm roadmap.
Implement low-latency, highly relevant solutions using large-scale data systems and/or machine learning.
Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend approaches for complex software engineering challenges.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
Six or more years of software development experience focused on large-scale backend services for customer-facing applications.
Substantial experience with Java 8 or later and frameworks such as Spring.
Experience building data infrastructures in a cloud-native environment using GCP or AWS.
Strong expertise designing, developing, and maintaining complex distributed systems in large-scale production environments.
In-depth understanding of Elasticsearch, Solr, or the underlying Lucene framework.
Ability to independently drive features from conception to completion and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a record of delivering high-quality SaaS solutions.

Salary: $112k - $176k/yr
