Responsibilities

Write product or system development code.
Review other engineers’ code for style, accuracy, testability, efficiency, and adherence to best practices.
Contribute to and update documentation or educational content based on product updates and user feedback.
Triage, debug, track, and resolve product or system issues by analyzing their sources and impact on hardware, networks, services, and quality.
Participate in or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to select among available technologies.
Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
At least 2 years of experience programming in Java or Kotlin.
At least 2 years of experience developing Android applications.
Preferred: master’s degree or PhD in computer science or a related technical field.
Preferred: 2 years of experience with performance, systems data analysis, visualization tools, or debugging.
Preferred: 2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms in an academic or industry setting.
Preferred: experience developing accessible technologies.
Preferred: experience with code and system health, diagnosis and resolution, and software test engineering.

Benefits

15% bonus target, equity, and benefits are offered in addition to the stated base pay.
The role works on Android products supporting smartphones, tablets, TVs, wearables, and other devices.

Salary: $147k - $210k/yr
