Responsibilities

Design, develop, troubleshoot, and deliver secure, scalable software solutions.
Write and maintain production code and algorithms that integrate reliably with surrounding systems.
Create architecture and design artifacts for complex applications and ensure implementation meets design constraints.
Analyze, synthesize, visualize, and report on large datasets to improve software applications and systems.
Identify patterns and hidden problems in data and use findings to optimize code and system architecture.
Contribute to software engineering communities of practice and emerging-technology events.
Use AI tools to accelerate software design, development, and stability improvements.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related discipline.
At least 5 years of software engineering experience.
Mastery of Python for software design, coding, testing, and delivery.
Proficiency in Python or Java and experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining software in a large corporate environment.
Familiarity with cross-asset or cross-business platforms and database querying languages.
Knowledge of the software development life cycle, application resiliency, security, and cloud or other technical disciplines.
Preferred qualifications include financial services industry experience, intermediate to advanced Python skills, AI development tooling experience, and exposure to cloud technologies.
