Responsibilities

Develop and evolve software for autonomous maritime platforms, including autonomy, simulation, data processing, payload integration, and command-and-control systems.
Own software-enabled solutions deployed to customers and optimize them for end-user value.
Design and implement scalable, reusable software components across Anduril product lines.
Develop software running on and off robotic platforms and iteratively enhance vehicle and mission software.
Create software- and hardware-in-the-loop test and simulation fixtures and support full lifecycle testing, monitoring, and operation.
Troubleshoot remotely deployed systems and support vehicle manufacturing and deployment.
Collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary engineering team and travel up to 20% to work with end-users or other teams.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Engineering, a relevant field, or equivalent experience.
Professional experience working as a Software Engineer in one or more relevant domains or technologies.
Systems or application programming skills involving algorithms, data structures, concurrency, scaling, testing, and software design.
Experience troubleshooting and analyzing remotely deployed software systems.
Ability to work across the software stack and product lifecycle, from design and implementation through operation and sustainment.
Eligibility to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
Preferred: experience delivering military mission systems, writing backend services or embedded software in C++, Rust, or Go, and building frontend applications with TypeScript and React.
Preferred: experience with horizontally scaled cloud technologies, embedded robotics software, modeling and simulation, high-assurance safety-critical software, and product delivery through manufacturing, acceptance, deployment, and sustainment.
Preferred: familiarity with Systems Engineering concepts.
