Software Engineer - Mobile, iOS in USA new

Responsibilities

  • Build and ship iOS products and services that solve customer problems in collaboration with Engineering, Product, and Design.
  • Independently implement features and components with some guidance while evaluating technical tradeoffs.
  • Participate in team design reviews, code reviews, testing, and engineering prioritization discussions.
  • Develop expertise in components of the team’s domain and contribute to engineering-led platform improvements.
  • Create clear technical documentation, including diagrams, service descriptions, decisions, and runbooks.
  • Maintain high standards for code quality, stability, testability, and operational rigor.

Requirements

  • BS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least 2 years of professional iOS development experience using Swift and shipping applications to the App Store.
  • Familiarity with modern Swift development practices, including SwiftUI and Swift Concurrency; reactive programming experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Computer Science fundamentals, iOS design patterns, and best practices.
  • Experience integrating with RESTful backend services.
  • Ability to collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering stakeholders and deliver polished, user-friendly products.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
