Software Engineer, New Grad in USA

Responsibilities

  • Build backend wiring, application logic, and user interfaces for educational products.
  • Design, code, test, debug, and tune software throughout the development process.
  • Own projects from start to finish through the development cycle.
  • Collaborate with engineers and other teams to develop products for students and teachers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or advanced degree in computer science or a related discipline.
  • Excellent programming skills and strong analytical reasoning and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with a wide variety of teams.
  • Knowledge of Unix, Python, Java, SQL, or JavaScript is a plus.
  • Passion for improving education through technology.

Benefits

  • Full-time position based at IXL Learning’s San Mateo, California headquarters.
  • H1B sponsorship is available.
  • Base salary range is $110,000 to $135,000 plus equity and benefits.

Salary: $110k - $135k/yr
