Software Engineer, Product Experiences in USA

Responsibilities

  • Own and deliver major user-facing product features from start to finish.
  • Build search and semantic discovery experiences across billions of records.
  • Design dossier views that assemble complete entity information on demand.
  • Create real-time collaborative experiences for maps and networks.
  • Develop AI-powered capabilities with transparent and trustworthy source handling.
  • Partner with product, design, deployment teams, and users to iterate on solutions.
  • Write robust, well-tested software and consider latency, interaction design, resilience, and distributed-system scalability.

Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience working with cross-functional software development teams.
  • Experience shipping and iterating on production-grade user-facing software professionally and/or in the open-source community.
  • Strong frontend fundamentals in React and TypeScript, with comfort working full-stack.
  • Understanding of architecting and scaling distributed software systems.
  • Strong modern software development practices and ability to navigate large codebases.
  • Ability to synthesize product requests into reliable software components.
  • Located in San Francisco or Washington, D.C. and open to working in the office.

Salary: $160k - $220k/yr
