Responsibilities

  • Program, test, implement, document, maintain, and support application software.
  • Develop secure, scalable software solutions based on technical requirements and design artifacts.
  • Research and evaluate technical solution alternatives, technologies, and frameworks.
  • Perform feasibility studies, logic designs, system flowcharting, input-output analysis, and cost and time analysis.
  • Manage production incidents and participate in an on-call pager support rotation.
  • Document software according to software development best practices and follow quality assurance and quality control processes.
  • Collaborate with project teams, identify emerging issues, recommend solutions, and complete assigned tasks.
  • Support the collection and reporting of project and software metrics.
  • Contribute to standards, process improvements, and documentation updates.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Management Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in the software engineering field.
  • Thorough knowledge of software engineering concepts and methodologies.
  • Ability to work independently under pressure with initiative, self-motivation, and attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal, written, relationship, collaboration, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a matrix-based, diverse, and geographically distributed project team.
  • Ability to follow information security policies and protect the confidentiality and integrity of accessed information.
