Responsibilities

  • Design and build scalable systems that integrate real-time crawler data and precomputed datasets.
  • Develop AWS-based streaming and batch pipelines for ingesting, transforming, and enriching product data.
  • Contribute to the architecture of systems that generate structured entities from structured and semi-structured data.
  • Build observability and metrics systems to monitor system health, identify bottlenecks, and support data-backed decisions.
  • Solve data integration, entity resolution, deduplication, and classification problems across heterogeneous sources.
  • Design storage solutions for large-scale write-heavy ingestion and read-heavy analytical workloads.
  • Lead and mentor engineers while promoting best practices in design, coding, testing, operations, and security.
  • Own end-to-end delivery from requirements gathering through implementation, deployment, and operational support.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • At least 2 years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems for reliability and scaling.
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
  • Preferred: at least 3 years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
  • Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
