Responsibilities

Engineer well-architected, responsive, performant, and reliable software for Starlink customers and internal users.
Build modern browser frontends and design, build, maintain, and debug complex backend systems.
Develop tools to manage thousands of Starlink devices and the systems that serve their data.
Investigate user problems and create efficient solutions.
Work with technical and non-technical partners to drive successful business outcomes.
Participate in architecture, design, and code reviews and collaborate across Starlink engineering teams.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a STEM discipline and 1+ years of full-stack software experience, or 3+ years of professional full-stack software experience in lieu of a degree.
Experience programming in an object-oriented language.
Front-end experience with a JavaScript or TypeScript framework.
Experience with relational databases, large-scale or performance-critical applications, UNIX-like operating systems, version control, continuous integration, continuous delivery, and CI/CD tools.
Strong attention to detail and willingness to own outcomes and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
Must be willing to work extended hours and weekends as needed.
Must satisfy applicable ITAR eligibility or authorization requirements.

Benefits

Base salary range is $135,000-$175,000 for Level 1 and $155,000-$210,000 for Level 2.
Potential eligibility for company stock or long-term cash awards, discretionary bonuses, and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
Comprehensive medical, vision, and dental coverage; 401(k); disability and life insurance; paid parental leave; and other discounts and perks.
Approximately three weeks of paid vacation, 10 or more paid holidays, and paid sick leave.
Work may require extended hours and weekends as needed.

Salary: $135k - $210k/yr
