Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain end-to-end and regression automation for onboarding, transaction scoring, and screening risk flows.
  • Create stable test data, isolated environments, and realistic fraud, screening, and jurisdiction scenarios.
  • Introduce contract testing between the Risk Platform and upstream and downstream services.
  • Build jurisdiction-specific coverage for regional rules, thresholds, and regulatory requirements.
  • Define release-quality gates and post-release verification, including smoke tests and monitoring-backed checks.
  • Own end-to-end testing and release acceptance for major client-facing projects in partnership with engineering and product.
  • Champion testability and quality practices and mentor engineers on test design and automation.

Requirements

  • Experience as an SDET or Software Engineer in Test with strong programming skills and experience building test frameworks.
  • Experience testing large-scale distributed backend systems, REST APIs, message-driven flows, and service-to-service integrations.
  • Hands-on experience with API and end-to-end automation, CI/CD, contract testing, and test data and environment management.
  • Ability to build reliable tests using deterministic data, isolated environments, and fast feedback loops.
  • Experience or interest in using AI and LLMs for test generation, coverage analysis, failure triage, and testing ML models and LLM agents.
  • Preferred experience with risk, fraud, payments, compliance, regulated financial systems, or jurisdiction-specific behavior.
  • Preferred experience with contract testing tools such as Pact and with performance and latency testing.
