Responsibilities

Build and scale test automation infrastructure, including frameworks, runners, orchestration services, workflow integrations, and supporting systems.
Develop AI-enabled tooling for test authoring, selection, execution, maintenance, and failure triage.
Build systems connecting test planning, selection, execution, and failure analysis.
Improve test stability, observability, debugging, diagnosis, and maintenance across Roblox’s test ecosystem.
Integrate automated quality checks and actionable test feedback into development and CI/CD workflows.
Own technical initiatives from problem definition and design through production deployment, adoption, measurement, and improvement.
Collaborate with application, platform, QA, infrastructure, and developer productivity teams.

Requirements

At least 1 year of experience building large-scale backend or infrastructure systems.
Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as C#, Go, Python, or a similar language.
Understanding of high-QPS, low-latency systems is a plus.
Experience with infrastructure or performance-critical backend systems is a plus.
Ability to solve open-ended problems, understand complex systems, collaborate across teams, and drive solutions.

Office-based roles are onsite Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with optional presence Monday and Friday.
The stated position is based at Roblox headquarters in San Mateo, California, when applicable.

Salary: $153k - $197k/yr
