Responsibilities

Build complex, responsive user interfaces using the project’s frontend framework.
Write clean, testable code with unit and end-to-end tests and review peer code.
Shape component structure, state management, and API integration.
Optimize page load times and rendering performance.
Implement accessibility-compliant interfaces and protect against XSS and similar risks.
Ensure consistent behavior across browsers and devices.
Translate UX designs into working UI and align with backend teams on API contracts.
Mentor junior developers and share frontend best practices.
Work autonomously, take ownership of tasks and decisions, and use AI tools responsibly to improve productivity and quality.

Requirements

Strong experience with React, TypeScript, Node.js, and GraphQL.
Experience with CSS-in-JS using PandaCSS.
Experience building components and design systems with Storybook and shared frontend components.
Experience with Playwright and Jest for testing.
Experience implementing and testing WCAG-aligned accessibility.
Experience with monorepos, GitHub, GitHub Copilot, Google Cloud, Contentful, and Optimizely.
Strong communication skills and a proactive, independent approach to work.
Ability to structure effective AI prompts, validate AI outputs critically, understand limitations, and take responsibility for final results.
