Responsibilities

  • Partner with a dedicated mentor from onboarding through shipping.
  • Collaborate with the design team throughout the full product lifecycle.
  • Contribute to new features and products for Robinhood’s mobile experience.
  • Explore and build innovative Android UI/UX.
  • Work with Kotlin, RxJava 2, Retrofit/OkHttp, Dagger 2, and Room.

Requirements

  • Be currently enrolled in a full-time, degree-seeking program with expected graduation in Winter 2027 or Spring 2028.
  • Have a solid foundation in software engineering.
  • Have an interest in front-end work, visually driven product design, and shaping user experience.
  • Be familiar with Android components and have built or contributed to at least one Android app.
  • Have experience building, maintaining, or contributing to open-source projects.
  • Have familiarity with Kotlin, RxJava 2, Dagger 2, and other libraries in the technology stack.
  • Demonstrate a self-starter mentality and proactive approach.
