Responsibilities

Design, develop, and test software features for infotainment, mobile, or connectivity applications.
Develop Android Automotive applications, Android platform or system-level software, wireless and telematics integrations, 3D graphics features, or automated integration tests depending on team placement.
Write code in Kotlin, Java, C++, or Python.
Collaborate with product and design partners to understand feature requirements.
Debug and resolve issues found during development or testing.
Present work and progress to the team throughout the internship.

Requirements

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program at an accredited Canadian university.
Proficiency in Kotlin, Java, C++, or Python.
Actively pursuing Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related degree and intending to return to school after the internship.
Experience developing Android applications or familiarity with the Android Automotive OS framework is preferred.
Coursework or project experience with LTE, Wi-Fi, or BLE is preferred.
Exposure to Unreal Engine, OpenGL, or Vulkan is preferred.
Familiarity with test automation frameworks is preferred.
