Responsibilities

Define and drive the engineering direction for digital automation platforms and products.
Serve as the technical authority for software, automation, AI, and platform engineering practices.
Lead technical design, architecture discussions, proofs of concept, proofs of technology, and innovation initiatives.
Establish engineering standards, development frameworks, architecture principles, secure-by-design practices, and technical roadmaps.
Mentor software engineers, automation engineers, and technical specialists while fostering engineering excellence.
Evaluate emerging capabilities in AI, Agentic AI, Computer Vision, and intelligent automation.
Drive reusability, automation, quality practices, observability, operational resilience, and AI-assisted engineering.

Requirements

8+ years of experience in software engineering, automation engineering, or digital product development, with experience leading technical direction across engineering teams.
Strong hands-on development experience with modern programming languages, frameworks, APIs, integrations, and cloud-native architectures.
Deep understanding of software engineering principles, architecture patterns, DevOps practices, quality engineering, security, scalability, and maintainability.
Extensive experience delivering solutions with RPA, workflow automation, Process Mining, Power Platform, and AI-enabled automation.
Practical experience building, integrating, or governing AI-powered applications and services using LLMs, RAG, AI copilots, and AI orchestration frameworks.
Understanding of Agentic AI, autonomous workflows, multi-agent systems, tool orchestration, human-in-the-loop patterns, and governance.
Experience driving engineering standards, technical roadmaps, architecture decisions, and best practices across distributed teams.
Experience using AI-assisted engineering tools and modern development practices to improve developer productivity and software quality.
Preferred qualifications include knowledge of Computer Vision, Intelligent Document Processing, OCR, multimodal AI, Microsoft Azure AI, Azure OpenAI, Microsoft Copilot Studio, AI Foundry, enterprise AI and automation platforms, and UiPath or Microsoft AI certifications.
