Responsibilities

  • Design and build secure, well-tested secrets-management components and contribute to multi-cloud Infrastructure as Code architecture.
  • Build and operate highly available Tier 0 services, including scalable code, on-call participation, and distributed-systems debugging.
  • Implement PKI, X.509, cryptographic, dynamic secret generation, automated key rotation, device identity, and zero-trust authentication features.
  • Develop secure secret-distribution and credential-delivery capabilities across real-time and non-real-time communication networks.
  • Improve code quality, test coverage, and engineering tooling through code reviews and mentoring of junior engineers.
  • Design and orchestrate complex systems in which AI agents integrate with human workflows and evaluate human- or AI-generated code for quality, security, correctness, and performance.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of hands-on software development experience in a product-based software technology company.
  • At least 3 years of development experience in public cloud environments; AWS is preferred and GCP is a plus.
  • Strong hands-on programming expertise in Golang, Java, C#, Python, Rust, or C/C++.
  • Experience building highly available, scalable services backed by relational and NoSQL databases such as Postgres, DynamoDB, or Cassandra.
  • Working knowledge of cloud computing, Infrastructure as Code, Docker, Kubernetes, TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing, and distributed networking.
  • Applied knowledge of cloud security design, secrets management, PKI/X.509, and OWASP principles; HashiCorp Vault experience is a plus.
  • Ability to design well-architected components, solve complex problems, collaborate across teams, and mentor engineers.
  • Experience using AI development tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Codex, or Cursor, plus advanced prompt-engineering and system-context skills.
