Responsibilities

Become the hands-on subject matter expert for the robot through testing and issue triage.
Collaborate with Platform Software, AI, Controls, and Manufacturing teams to resolve software and system bugs and drive architectural improvements.
Lead test-plan definition for new software and firmware features.
Improve firmware, diagnostics, and self-tests with developers and manufacturing using end-of-line data to accelerate robot bring-up.
Validate software before release to internal manufacturing and service teams and assist with bring-up and troubleshooting.
Partner with Test Infrastructure to add automated tests and diagnostics that catch regressions and improve system reliability.

Requirements

Ability to debug complex hardware/software systems and identify targeted tests for regression isolation and root-cause analysis.
Programming experience in C++ and Python.
Experience integrating and validating complex software systems in robotics, mechatronics, or electric vehicle environments.
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Mechatronics, Robotics, or a related field.
Self-sufficiency, strong ownership, and ability to manage multiple high-impact priorities.

Benefits

Full-time position requiring five days per week of in-office collaboration in San Jose, California.
Total compensation may include additional components and benefits depending on the specific role.

Salary: $130k - $250k/yr
