Responsibilities

Design, implement, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for desktop and web applications.
Perform functional, regression, integration, exploratory, cross-browser, and responsive-design testing across multiple platforms and environments.
Develop and maintain automated tests using Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Qt Squish, or similar frameworks.
Track software defects in Jira, verify fixes through retesting, and maintain clear testing documentation and quality metrics.
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and designers to provide QA feedback on requirements and features.
Test desktop installers, application updates, configuration scenarios, and RESTful APIs.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes.

Requirements

At least 3 years of software QA experience focused on desktop and web applications.
Strong knowledge of QA principles, test planning, test case development, and defect management.
Proficiency in manual functional, regression, and exploratory testing.
Experience with Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Qt Squish, or similar automation tools.
Ability to write test scripts in JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python is welcome.
Experience testing desktop applications on Windows and macOS, including installers, updates, and configuration scenarios.
Experience with cross-browser testing, responsive design verification, and API testing with Postman or automated scripts.
Familiarity with Git, Jira, test management tools, Agile processes, and sprint-based development.
Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
