Responsibilities

Design and develop manufacturing diagnostics software for platforms and peripherals.
Develop and support applications, databases, diagnostics, scripts, firmware, drivers, and BIOS utilities.
Develop, test, integrate, sustain, and maintain software.
Prepare software and storage specifications from architectural diagrams and technical documents.
Create and review design, functional, technical, and user documentation.
Develop, review, and implement test strategies for products and systems.
Analyze quality metrics, prepare trend reports, improve processes, and coordinate status discussions with global factories.

Requirements

Knowledge of Python, Shell scripting, and C/C++.
Familiarity with Intel x86 architecture, Intel ME, RAID, uEFI, firmware, and BIOS.
Ability to code and debug sophisticated programs from written or verbal design specifications.
Ability to learn new tools, languages, and operating systems through training and on-the-job experience.
5 to 8 years of related experience is desirable.
A bachelor’s degree is desirable.
