Responsibilities

  • Develop, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases based on product requirements and design specifications.
  • Design and implement test automation frameworks and tools to improve testing coverage and efficiency.
  • Use AI-assisted engineering and testing tools to accelerate test creation, automate repetitive activities, improve defect analysis, and enhance software quality.
  • Perform functional, integration, system, regression, performance, and end-to-end testing.
  • Identify, document, track, and verify software defects through resolution.
  • Collaborate with software engineers, product owners, and stakeholders to clarify requirements and ensure testability.
  • Integrate automated testing into CI/CD development pipelines.
  • Analyze test results, prepare quality reports, and communicate metrics to project stakeholders.
  • Support investigation and validation of customer-reported issues and production incidents.
  • Recommend improvements to testing processes, tools, and frameworks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
  • Typically 2–5 years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, or software engineering.
  • Experience developing and maintaining automated test frameworks and test automation solutions.
  • Experience testing cloud-based, web, desktop, or distributed software systems.
  • Familiarity with C#, Java, Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
  • Experience with Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or equivalent testing tools.
  • Experience using AI-assisted development or testing tools to improve engineering efficiency and software quality.
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and CI/CD practices.
  • Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools such as Jira.
  • Experience with API testing using Postman is preferred.
  • Experience with GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps is preferred.
  • Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP is preferred.
  • Knowledge of performance, security, or load testing methodologies is preferred.
  • Experience in regulated environments or software products requiring validation and compliance testing is preferred.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
