Responsibilities

Triage and resolve alerts generated by cloud-platform monitoring systems.
Collaborate with engineers to troubleshoot, escalate, and resolve complex system and customer issues.
Provide direct technical support to customers as needed.
Identify alert trends, improve monitoring, and contribute code that increases reliability and efficiency.
Diagnose root causes and solve complex technical problems through hands-on troubleshooting.
Work the required night-shift schedule of either 5pm–2am EST or 1am–10am EST.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree and equivalent work experience in a technical field.
Hands-on technical background with strong troubleshooting skills.
Foundational knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, and routing.
Familiarity with Datadog, Grafana, or Prometheus.
Experience in a procedural environment such as Helpdesk or 1st Line Support, following runbooks and processes.
Comfort with the Linux command line.
Strong communication and teamwork skills, including working with customers.
Ability and willingness to work a night shift.
Preferred: foundational knowledge of SQL or NoSQL databases.
Preferred: scripting experience with Python or Bash for automation.
Preferred: knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
