Responsibilities

  • Provide system-level integration and test engineering support for spacecraft, payloads, and space-vehicle systems.
  • Automate functional, qualification, and production environmental testing.
  • Develop and deploy Electrical Ground Support Equipment for integration, checkout, test automation, and execution.
  • Create and maintain test requirements, designs, plans, procedures, verification documentation, and test reports.
  • Perform EGSE and Unit Under Test checkout, selloff, and troubleshooting throughout the system lifecycle.
  • Analyze test data, identify anomalies, document issues, and drive root-cause and corrective-action activities.
  • Support system verification and validation from design through manufacturing, test, and delivery.
  • Contribute to major program reviews and interface with internal teams, subcontractors, and customers.
  • Travel and support extended or weekend hours as required by program schedules.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and at least 4 years of relevant experience, or a graduate degree and at least 2 years of related experience, or 8 years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Active U.S. Government Top Secret or TS/SCI security clearance.
  • Experience with system integration and test in space, aerospace, defense, or similarly complex mission-critical environments is preferred.
  • Experience with LabVIEW, TestStand, DOORS or similar requirements tools, test beds, simulators, EGSE, and verification traceability is preferred.
  • Experience with space-qualified, aerospace, or military hardware and RF test and measurement equipment is preferred.
  • Familiarity with satellite telemetry, tracking, and command systems; Python, Java, Perl, or similar scripting tools; and Jira, Bitbucket, and Confluence is preferred.
