Responsibilities

Drive AI deployments from discovery and scoping through system design, implementation, and production rollout.
Embed with business and technical teams to identify high-value opportunities for agentic automation.
Prepare scopes of work and project plans while balancing scope, priority, and quality.
Design, build, test, and deploy production-grade agentic AI applications and integrations.
Connect solutions to Roku’s data platforms, internal systems, enterprise APIs, data sources, pipelines, and metric layers.
Lead onboarding, enablement, and change management based on user feedback.
Track production adoption, workflow impact, and measurable business value.
Collaborate with AI Ambassadors, mentor teammates, and work across functions and initiatives.
Codify reusable patterns and field learnings into Roku’s broader AI platform strategy.

Requirements

5+ years of software engineering, full-stack engineering, or technical deployment experience shipping production systems.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Ability to write and ship production-grade code using Python and/or JavaScript/TypeScript.
Hands-on experience building or deploying systems powered by LLMs, generative models, or agentic frameworks.
Experience decomposing ambiguous problems, making trade-offs, and working autonomously.
Experience working directly with non-technical stakeholders and communicating with executive audiences.
Track record of delivering solutions with user adoption and measurable impact.
Experience with RAG, prompt engineering, agent orchestration, tool use, human-in-the-loop controls, model evaluation, and MLOps/LLMOps.
Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP; Docker or Kubernetes; CI/CD practices; modern data architectures; and relational databases.

Benefits

Estimated California annual base salary is $242,200-$486,000.

Hybrid work generally requires office attendance Monday through Thursday, with Fridays generally flexible for remote work.
