Responsibilities

Design and implement scalable, reliable software solutions and contribute to software architecture discussions.
Develop and enhance maintainable features while debugging issues and optimizing performance and scalability.
Use AI-assisted development tools and help pilot emerging AI-powered engineering workflows.
Write and maintain automated tests, participate in code reviews, and support reliable releases through testing and CI/CD practices.
Collaborate with QA, Product Management, DevOps, and other cross-functional teams on end-to-end product development.
Contribute to sprint planning, estimation, user documentation, and adherence to company software guidelines.
Travel quarterly to the company's downtown Los Angeles office.

Requirements

At least 3 years of experience writing software in production environments.
Understanding of software technologies across multiple programming languages, including experience with C#, JavaScript, Python, and SQL.
Knowledge of design patterns, algorithms, and computer science fundamentals.
Experience across web, Windows desktop, cloud, and IoT software stacks.
Experience with REST and GraphQL APIs.
Experience with AWS cloud services and infrastructure, including Lambda, S3, and API Gateway.
Professional experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code.
Hands-on experience with Git, automated unit and integration testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Willingness to travel and fluency in written and spoken English.
