Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary stakeholder contact and triage, clarify, document, and route incoming requests.
  • Translate customer business needs into requirements and coordinate solutions across architects, analysts, and development teams.
  • Build and modernize enterprise applications, APIs, services, and responsive user interfaces using .NET and React.
  • Integrate solutions across Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams, and Power Platform.
  • Lead architecture and technology selection decisions, AI-enabled modernization initiatives, engineering standards, tooling decisions, and best practices.
  • Establish or mature CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows.
  • Conduct design and code reviews, set coding standards, and mentor developers.
  • Track engagement status, timelines, metrics, trends, and workflow improvements.
  • Maintain records of customer interactions, requirements, decisions, and outcomes.
  • Support secure, scalable, and reliable solutions and communicate recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Active Secret clearance and local availability in the DMV area with the ability to support onsite work in Washington, DC.
  • 8+ years of progressive .NET development experience, including C#, ASP.NET MVC, and ASP.NET Core, with technical lead or senior engineering experience.
  • Experience making architecture and technology selection decisions for enterprise applications.
  • Proficiency with React, including hooks, component design, state management, and responsive UI development.
  • Experience developing server-side applications or APIs with Node.js.
  • Professional experience using AI-powered developer tools such as GitHub Copilot or OpenAI Codex.
  • Hands-on Microsoft Power Platform experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Dataverse, including data modeling, tables, relationships, and security roles.
  • Experience supporting or modernizing SharePoint-backed systems, including SharePoint Online and legacy SharePoint 2013 or newer.
  • Deep experience with MS SQL, Entity Framework, and API design and consumption.
  • Experience establishing or maturing CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows, with strong Git fundamentals.
  • Experience leading code reviews, setting coding standards, and mentoring developers.
  • Understanding of application security, Active Directory, and enterprise identity and access patterns.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and Office tools including SharePoint Online, Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word, and OneDrive.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to present technical recommendations to engineering teams and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work onsite in a federal environment, with occasional Saturday deployment support.
