Responsibilities

  • Apply AI security patterns and reference architectures to LLM integrations, agent frameworks, MCP connectors, and data pipelines.
  • Lead threat modeling for new AI capabilities and implement controls for agent isolation, least privilege, credential scoping, and data boundaries.
  • Maintain inventories of AI tools, integrations, data flows, permission scopes, and access controls.
  • Run AI risk assessments, adversarial red-team testing, agent and MCP connector lifecycle governance, and security evaluations for new AI tools.
  • Maintain AI security incident-response runbooks, support response activities, and track AI security metrics.
  • Produce SOC 2 Type II and ISO 42001 compliance evidence and translate technical decisions into auditor-ready documentation.
  • Partner with AI Operations and Corporate IT on inference API access controls, cloud workload isolation, endpoint/DLP configuration, and safe-AI guidance.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in security engineering, application security, or infrastructure security, with hands-on AI/ML exposure.
  • Experience securing or building LLM-based systems, agentic frameworks, or ML pipelines in cloud environments.
  • Understanding of AI-specific threats including prompt injection, tool-use exploitation, privilege escalation, data poisoning, and model or training-data leakage.
  • Hands-on experience building with AI systems and strong proficiency in Python for security tooling, automation, and testing.
  • Strong working knowledge of AWS security, including IAM, networking, container isolation, encryption, and monitoring.
  • Familiarity with SOC 2, ISO 27001, ISO 42001, and NIST AI RMF, including mapping controls to audit requirements.
  • Ability to communicate technical risk to engineers, auditors, and other stakeholders.
  • Preferred qualifications include AI red-teaming or adversarial-testing experience, MCP or agent-orchestration experience, DLP/monitoring/observability experience, and experience at a growth-stage B2B SaaS company.
