Sr. Site Reliability Engineer I in USA

Responsibilities

  • Build and operate scalable Kubernetes platforms and tools that enable engineering teams to provision and manage services securely.
  • Develop reliable, maintainable code and debug cloud-native distributed systems.
  • Improve platform reliability, operability, cost efficiency, and developer experience.
  • Use observability, infrastructure automation, and self-service documentation to support engineering teams.
  • Influence engineering teams to adopt improved architectural patterns and site reliability practices.
  • Scope, plan, and deliver technical platform projects on schedule.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of applicable experience in platform engineering and container orchestration.
  • U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain CJIS clearance for full U.S. production access.
  • Experience building and operating platforms on Azure or AWS, preferably both.
  • Production experience operating Kubernetes platforms such as AKS or EKS at scale.
  • Experience with programming languages such as Python, Go, C#, or Java.
  • Experience managing revenue-, security-, health-, or life-safety-critical infrastructure and systems.
  • Experience with CI/CD platforms, observability tools, and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or Pulumi.
  • Experience designing tooling for SaaS/PaaS operational management and supporting software engineers.

Salary: $134k - $215k/yr
