Responsibilities

  • Design and implement scalable enterprise web applications using React and JavaScript.
  • Develop and maintain Java and Spring Boot microservices with secure, reliable, and high-performing backend services.
  • Translate functional requirements into technical solutions with product owners and business analysts.
  • Profile and optimize frontend components, backend services, and data flows.
  • Apply secure coding practices and conduct code reviews to reduce vulnerabilities, defects, and incidents.
  • Integrate APIs and microservices with React frontends.
  • Automate build, testing, and deployment pipelines.
  • Troubleshoot complex Java, Spring Boot, and React defects through root-cause analysis.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for system designs, interfaces, and frontend architectures.
  • Mentor junior engineers in JavaScript, React, Java, and Spring Boot.
  • Collaborate with quality engineering teams on unit, integration, and regression testing strategies.
  • Modernize legacy components using React and Spring Boot microservices.
  • Contribute to architecture decisions involving scalability, observability, and fault tolerance.
  • Drive improvements in code quality, development processes, monitoring, reliability, and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Seven to ten years of hands-on experience designing and building large-scale enterprise applications with Java, Spring Boot, and related server-side frameworks.
  • Advanced proficiency in React, JavaScript, and modern frontend tooling.
  • Practical experience designing, building, and deploying microservices, including service discovery, configuration management, and fault handling.
  • Strong unit testing, integration testing, and test automation experience across frontend and backend components.
  • Working knowledge of relational or document databases and efficient data modeling.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with distributed hybrid teams and stakeholders.
  • Preferred certifications include Oracle Certified Professional Java Programmer, Spring Professional Certification, or equivalent cloud-native microservices credentials.
