Sr. Software Engineer (Go) in Canada

Responsibilities

  • Deliver business-critical product contributions to a Go-based, cross-OS endpoint agent cybersecurity platform.
  • Develop cloud microservice components using Go and TypeScript.
  • Apply software design and architecture practices to improve performance, scale, and resiliency.
  • Mentor other engineers and lead complex cross-functional projects.
  • Define technical solutions, align them with business objectives, and communicate progress to stakeholders.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of industry experience developing with Go.
  • Familiarity with using Go and TypeScript to build and maintain cloud microservices.
  • Experience building and consuming secure, scalable, and fault-tolerant REST APIs.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins or GitLab for testing, deployment, and service scaling.
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment, including sprint planning and breaking down large initiatives.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with experience diagnosing complex technical issues and implementing solutions.
