Responsibilities

  • Own and evolve the recommendation service as a critical customer-facing system.
  • Collaborate with global teams to co-build a large-scale recommendation system.
  • Analyze customer behavior and large datasets to derive actionable insights.
  • Develop machine learning models, features, ranking algorithms, and recommendation algorithms.
  • Create data jobs for machine learning features, train models, run experiments, and launch new models.
  • Lead cross-functional technical initiatives and mentor engineers across teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a closely related field.
  • 8+ years of professional experience in applied AI/ML with large-scale, complex datasets.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop reliable machine learning models and robust features.
  • Experience serving as a company-wide technical leader and delivering large-scale, high-impact solutions.
  • Professional industry experience with Python and/or Java.
  • Professional proficiency in English and excellent communication skills.
  • Preferred: Ph.D. or master’s degree in a relevant technical field.
  • Preferred: experience with recommendation or search systems, LLMs, PLMs, embedding models, cloud platforms, and large-scale online serving systems.
