Responsibilities

  • Design and develop scalable, secure software systems, including microservices and REST/gRPC APIs.
  • Lead distributed-systems implementation using messaging, search stores, and cloud storage solutions.
  • Collaborate with front-end engineers to deliver APIs for high-performance user interfaces.
  • Monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and optimize services with a DevOps mindset.
  • Mentor junior engineers and drive end-to-end technical execution and team growth.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of hands-on software application development experience with distributed systems and cloud storage solutions.
  • Proficiency with Java, Spring frameworks including Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and Spring Security, and Docker or Kubernetes.
  • Deep understanding of AWS or GCP and observability tools such as DataDog, Grafana, or Prometheus.
  • Expertise across the full software development life cycle, including Git, design, deployment, and system optimization.
  • Foundational understanding of AI/ML technologies and experience leveraging, securing, or positioning AI-driven solutions within the functional domain.
  • Preferred qualifications include AI/ML model inference, AI security controls, automated threat intelligence, SLA and high-availability design, disaster recovery, cost optimization, TDD, Agile workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and relational or NoSQL databases.
