Responsibilities

  • Partner with product, design, and engineering leaders to develop scalable access security solutions.
  • Integrate LLM frameworks, AI agents, and AI-driven access intelligence into enterprise identity and access workflows.
  • Architect, design, develop, optimize, and maintain secure high-performance backend services.
  • Own features from design and architecture through release, operational oversight, and ongoing stability.
  • Participate in technical decisions involving quality, performance, maintainability, testing, and code reviews.
  • Integrate automated testing into development workflows and improve production readiness.
  • Mentor engineers, raise quality standards, and lead major cross-functional technical projects.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of backend software development experience building complex enterprise production software.
  • Strong proficiency in Go and other programming languages such as Python or Java.
  • Practical experience integrating AI, ML, or LLM capabilities into production workflows.
  • Expertise designing RESTful, GraphQL, and gRPC APIs, data models, SQL, relational databases, and graph technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, design patterns, and performance optimization.
  • Proven experience leading major cross-functional technical projects from conception to launch.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Preferred experience with IAM, IGA, PAM, AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, LLM provider libraries, automated testing frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines.

Benefits

  • Base pay is $171,900–$300,800, plus equity when applicable, variable or incentive compensation, and benefits.

  • The role offers a flexible or remote work persona within a distributed work environment.
  • This is a regular employee position in the North America and Canada region.

Salary: $172k - $301k/yr
