Responsibilities

Own the technical baseline, roadmaps, architecture decisions, and design and change control.
Define software architecture, reference architectures, technical strategy, guardrails, and interoperability across enclaves.
Lead AI/ML solution patterns covering MLOps, model lifecycle, evaluation, risk management, and enterprise integration.
Author and review DoDAF-aligned technical artifacts, performance and reliability targets, and compliance controls.
Support legacy code modernization, cloud migration, API and AI/ML integrations, IV&V, and deployments.
Mentor senior engineers and drive proofs of concept and technical assessments.
Coordinate with the Release Train Engineer and Program Manager on increment goals.

Requirements

Active TS/SCI security clearance with CI Polygraph.
10+ years of technical leadership experience as a Chief Engineer, Chief Architect, or equivalent.
Deep expertise in software architecture and enterprise integration.
Hands-on experience with AI/ML platforms, data pipelines, cloud environments, containerization, and security patterns.
Advanced degree in computer science, electrical engineering, data, or a related field preferred.
Ability to work onsite five days per week for the duration of the role.

Salary: $172k - $207k/yr
