Responsibilities

Own the build, deployment, and reliability of ServiceNow Otto systems across SaaS environments.
Deploy, scale, and operate distributed microservices in production Kubernetes environments.
Design infrastructure automation with Terraform, Ansible, Helm, Kubernetes Operators, and related Kubernetes-native tooling.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Tekton, and ArgoCD.
Implement observability, monitoring, incident response, root cause analysis, and remediation practices.
Architect and optimize public and private cloud infrastructure for security, scalability, cost efficiency, and operational simplicity.
Develop infrastructure automation and operational tooling using Go, Python, Bash, or similar languages.
Lead cross-team infrastructure initiatives and establish scalable platform engineering practices.
Deploy, operate, and troubleshoot LLM-powered and agentic services in production, including model integrations, latency, resource utilization, and operational costs.

Requirements

At least 8 years of professional experience in software engineering, infrastructure engineering, DevOps, or a related field.
At least 6 years deploying and operating containerized applications and distributed services in production.
At least 4 years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure, and infrastructure automation.
Proficiency in Go, Python, Bash, or another programming or scripting language, with experience building production-grade automation and tooling.
Experience designing and operating scalable, reliable, secure cloud-native applications and infrastructure.
Experience leading complex infrastructure initiatives, establishing engineering best practices, and driving adoption across multiple teams.
Working knowledge of LLMs, generative AI, and agentic AI concepts, including integration patterns and operational considerations.
Practical experience using AI-assisted development tools and safely validating, debugging, and integrating generated code.
Preferred qualifications include extensive experience operating Kubernetes-based SaaS platforms at scale and developing Kubernetes Operators or custom controllers.
Preferred qualifications include technical leadership across infrastructure initiatives and experience operating LLM-powered or agentic systems in production.

Benefits

Base pay is listed at $176,100-$308,200, with equity when applicable, variable or incentive compensation, and benefits.

The role has a flexible work persona within ServiceNow’s distributed work model.
This is a regular employee position in the AMS - North America and Canada region.
