Responsibilities

Create reliable Android components and flows using modern technologies such as Jetpack Compose.
Build in-car interface features that clearly communicate the vehicle’s intentions and inspire customer trust.
Collaborate with UX/UI designers, Product Managers, and Vehicle Software Engineers to launch in-car experiences.
Design and maintain software controlling in-car displays, audio, and climate systems.
Manage the full software development lifecycle with emphasis on quality and robustness for safety-sensitive systems.
Lead technical designs and mentor other engineers.

Requirements

Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
At least 7 years of professional software development experience.
At least 3 years of Android application development experience, including testing, maintenance, and feature launches.
Ability to independently design and implement significant features or components.
Proficiency in Kotlin or Java and strong understanding of Android internals.
Preferred: Android platform/AOSP development, custom Android builds, or embedded systems experience.
Preferred: In-car infotainment or automotive software development experience.
Preferred: Performance analysis and optimization for resource-constrained devices.
Preferred: Full-stack experience designing and integrating server-side APIs for client features.

Salary: $251k - $310k/yr
