Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of Coupang Pay product applications.
  • Participate in and lead system design discussions with senior and junior developers.
  • Lead engineers on mission-critical projects and rapidly solve complex business problems.
  • Mentor senior and junior developers and support their growth.
  • Apply high-quality programming practices to innovative consumer mobile product development.

Requirements

  • At least 6 years of Android development experience using Java or Kotlin.
  • Experience developing high-quality, large-scale consumer applications.
  • A proven track record of delivering mission-critical systems.
  • Experience in a B2C business domain.
  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical field.
  • Payment-domain experience is preferred.
  • Experience with cross-platform mobile development using Flutter is preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a rapidly changing environment is preferred.
  • Strong passion for implementing products and familiarity with Agile software methodologies are preferred.
