Responsibilities

Design and architect scalable cloud infrastructure, platform services, and system architectures for 10X growth.
Build self-service code and end-to-end cloud deployment automation for application stacks.
Create roadmaps and technical vision for reliable, scalable cloud infrastructure and platform services targeting 99.999% availability.
Provide recommendations on network design, machine types, cloud infrastructure choices, deployment automation, role management, CDN, domains, and cloud security.
Build, operate, and optimize highly available, high-performance distributed systems across public, private, and hybrid cloud environments.
Manage continuous integration servers and use monitoring and testing tools to analyze production deployments and automate operational processes.
Provide technical influence and guidance across multiple engineering teams while collaborating with customers, stakeholders, and lead engineers.
Lead cloud infrastructure architecture, design, deployment, maintenance, and operational excellence initiatives.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and 10+ years of total experience.
10+ years of hands-on experience in system engineering, Cloud DevOps, Cloud SRE, and cloud infrastructure engineering.
10+ years of experience designing architectures using AWS or Azure services.
10+ years of experience building and operating infrastructure as code and working with Linux.
10+ years of experience building high-performance, highly available, and scalable distributed and hybrid-cloud systems.
Strong experience with Terraform, Python or Go, cloud deployment automation, Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud service integrations.
Strong analytical, system design, architecture, problem-solving, communication, and cross-group collaboration skills.
Team-leading experience and the ability to provide technical influence across multiple teams.
AWS Advanced Architecting or Developing on AWS certification is preferred.
A master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent qualifications and experience are preferred.
