Responsibilities

Develop containerized services that process real-time events and network telemetry from multiple public clouds.
Design, present, implement, deploy, and operate scalable distributed services and critical subsystems.
Own the full software development lifecycle, including requirements clarification, deployment, customer usage, and operational support.
Write primarily in Go and work with data pipelines using SQL and other interfaces.
Mentor junior engineers, new graduates, and interns.
Ensure code quality through developer testing and functional and integration testing.
Partner with Product Management and stakeholders to refine requirements and solve customer problems.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or an equivalent degree; a master’s degree is a plus.
8+ years of experience building distributed and scalable software and systems.
Experience using AWS, Azure, or GCP at the API/programming level.
Experience with Go, SQL, REST API clients, and a Unix/Linux programming environment.
Experience delivering containerized services on Kubernetes is desired.
General TCP/IP networking knowledge is required; networking and security controls experience is a plus.
CloudFormation, Terraform, and Ansible experience is nice to have.
Willingness to continuously learn, follow technology trends, and work collaboratively.

Salary: $196k - $235k/yr
