Responsibilities

Design and implement scalable, secure, high-performance solutions within the event-driven architecture.
Analyze and resolve complex system problems to improve performance, scalability, reliability, and efficiency.
Write efficient, modular, and testable code and participate in code reviews.
Support the full product lifecycle from concept through development, deployment, and ongoing operations.
Collaborate with Product, Quant, and Engineering teams to deliver stable applications aligned with product goals.
Improve software quality through testability, operational metrics, and comprehensive documentation.
Develop product and industry understanding and contribute to planning and design discussions.
Participate in mentorship, knowledge sharing, and an on-call rotation.
Travel occasionally for special events, offsite meetings, and team collaboration sessions.

Requirements

At least 8 years of demonstrable experience building and deploying scalable, high-performance applications.
At least 8 years of experience with C# and cloud platforms; Azure experience is a plus.
Understanding of software design, development, and testing principles, including SOLID, DRY, TDD, and BDD.
Experience building software using Domain Driven Design (DDD).
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and technical translation skills.
Experience partnering with cross-functional teams and working in a startup environment.
Familiarity with sports betting or a strong interest in sports is desirable.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, entrepreneurial, and fast-changing environment.

Fully remote candidates based in Ireland or the UK are accepted, with a strong preference for candidates able to join on campus two days per week.
Full-time, non-seasonal hires may participate in onsite interviews or a multi-day cultural immersion in New York City, with requirements confirmed based on role and location.
Occasional travel may be required for special events and essential offsite meetings.
