Responsibilities

Implement OpenBMC software stacks for enterprise servers, including D-Bus services, platform management, IPMI, PLDM, and MCTP.
Own firmware features and modules from design through implementation, validation, and sustaining support.
Support server platform bring-up and resolve firmware-related integration issues.
Collaborate with global engineering and cross-functional teams on NPI and sustaining activities.
Follow firmware coding standards.

Requirements

5+ years of BMC firmware development experience, including at least 1 year of OpenBMC experience.
Ability to work on complex technical projects, participate in architecture reviews, and collaborate across global R&D teams.
Understanding of computer architecture, firmware design principles, and low-level software development.
Working knowledge of PLDM, MCTP, IPMI, I2C/I3C, SPI/eSPI, SMBus, and PCIe VDM.
Proficiency in embedded C/C++ development for x86 and ARM server platforms.
Familiarity with ASPEED series controllers, such as AST2600 and AST2700.
