Staff Front End Engineer in USA

Responsibilities

  • Design and maintain high-performance Vue 3 and SSR applications.
  • Optimize SSR pipelines, Node.js throughput, concurrency, memory usage, hydration cost, caching, bundle splitting, dynamic imports, and tree-shaking.
  • Improve Core Web Vitals and application performance through profiling, flame graph analysis, CPU profiling, and memory analysis.
  • Implement SSR/CSR rendering strategies, CDN and edge caching, asset optimization, structured data, meta tags, and pre-rendering for SEO.
  • Use AI-assisted coding and agentic developer tools for implementation, refactoring, debugging, testing, documentation, and performance profiling.
  • Participate in architecture discussions, technical decisions, code reviews, and engineering quality initiatives.
  • Mentor mid-level and junior engineers on front-end performance and best practices.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, backend engineers, and SEO specialists across distributed teams.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience building modern, high-traffic web applications.
  • Strong JavaScript expertise and experience with Vue.js or React.
  • Experience with Node.js, particularly in server-side rendering environments.
  • Proven experience optimizing performance for large-scale consumer applications.
  • Hands-on experience improving Core Web Vitals and using Chrome DevTools, Lighthouse, memory profiling, and flame graph analysis.
  • Deep understanding of rendering strategies, hydration, code splitting, tree-shaking, browser rendering, Virtual DOM performance, and reactivity systems.
  • Experience implementing CDN, caching, and asset optimization strategies and understanding SEO implications of SSR.
  • Experience building maintainable systems with automated tests.
  • Professional experience with AI-assisted or AI-native engineering workflows and agentic developer tools.
  • Experience collaborating effectively on remote or distributed teams across time zones.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Preferred experience in real estate, marketplaces, or high-scale consumer platforms; production Node.js performance tuning; and edge computing or CDN configuration.
