Responsibilities

Own the frontend platform, including the application shell, design system, and shared data layer for the operator UI.
Define the architecture and contribution model for integrating domain-team UI modules into one cohesive application.
Lead consolidation of multiple front ends into a unified operator platform.
Build responsive, high-performance interfaces that render live hardware telemetry at high rates within safety-critical performance budgets.
Set frontend technical direction and quality standards across the organization and mentor senior engineers.

Requirements

Typically 8+ years of experience building production web applications.
Deep expertise in TypeScript and React.
Experience owning a frontend platform, design system, or large shared codebase used by other teams.
Strong frontend performance skills, including profiling, render optimization, and maintaining responsiveness under continuous data loads.
Experience architecting state management and data flow for data-intensive applications, including technologies such as Redux, streaming or WebSocket data, and Web Workers.
Ability to establish cross-team architecture and technical direction and mentor senior engineers.
Preferred experience with real-time data visualization, charting, industrial control, SCADA, hardware-in-the-loop systems, binary streaming protocols, WebSockets, protobuf, Web Workers, Bazel, or Monaco.
