Staff Full-stack Product Engineer in Remote

Responsibilities

  • Lead the architectural work and standards that make the codebase effective for AI agents.
  • Build repo-versioned context infrastructure consumed by Cursor, Claude Code, and Codex.
  • Develop self-healing incident workflows that triage alerts, retrieve logs and history, and suggest remediation.
  • Build multi-step agent workflows with tool use, autonomous task execution, and human-gated checkpoints for product features.
  • Optimize AI code review to detect correctness, security, and maintainability issues while reducing noise.
  • Ship AI-first product features end to end with engineers, product managers, and designers.
  • Set technical direction, shape product decisions, and own the path from idea to validated learning.

Requirements

  • 6-10+ years of production software engineering experience.
  • Strong backend skills in Python, Kotlin, or Java, including service-level logic and infrastructure.
  • Hands-on LLM product experience covering prompt design, context management, evaluation, hallucinations, latency, cost, and reliability trade-offs.
  • Experience with distributed systems and event-driven architectures, including queues, asynchronous processing, and service-to-service communication.
  • Daily use of AI coding tools as a core part of the development workflow.
  • Experience as a founding engineer or founder, or as a 0-to-1 engineer who turns business insights into prototypes.
  • Experience building agentic systems in production or doing deep work with multi-step LLM workflows, tool use, memory, and orchestration.
  • Candidates must have the legal right to work in the EU.
