Staff Full-stack Product Engineer in Remote

Responsibilities

  • Lead architectural work for agent-native codebase standards, API contracts, semantic naming, and module boundaries.
  • Build context infrastructure that provides repo-versioned guidance to AI coding tools.
  • Develop self-healing incident workflows that triage alerts, retrieve logs and history, and suggest remediation.
  • Build multi-step agent workflows with tool use, autonomous task execution, and human-gated checkpoints for product features.
  • Optimize AI code review to detect correctness, security, and maintainability issues with reduced noise.
  • Ship AI-first product features end-to-end while setting technical direction and deciding what is worth building.
  • Work with engineers, product managers, and designers to accelerate the cycle from idea to validated learning.

Requirements

  • 6–10+ years of production software engineering experience.
  • Strong backend skills in Python, Kotlin, or Java, including experience evolving service-level logic and infrastructure.
  • Hands-on LLM product experience with prompt design, context management, evaluation, and trade-off analysis involving hallucinations, latency, cost, and reliability.
  • Experience with distributed systems and event-driven architectures, including queues, asynchronous processing, and service-to-service communication.
  • Daily experience using AI coding tools and refining prompts while understanding their limitations.
  • Experience building agentic systems in production or working deeply with multi-step LLM workflows involving tool use, memory, and orchestration.
  • Experience as a founding engineer or founder and ability to turn business insights into quickly validated prototypes is a strong fit.
  • Candidates must have the legal right to work in the EU.
