Responsibilities

Partner with leadership and teammates to prioritize and execute the product roadmap.
Design, develop, and own complex features and software components end to end.
Deliver robust, scalable, and well-tested full-stack code.
Establish engineering best practices and help build a high-performing, collaborative engineering culture.
Collaborate with Design and Operations teams to improve the product.
Own architecture, mentor engineers, and raise overall team effectiveness.
Partner with executives and cross-functional teams to define strategy, requirements, and deliverables.

Requirements

8+ years of software development experience, including 3+ years contributing to system design or architecture.
Strong full-stack proficiency with TypeScript and JavaScript on the frontend and Node.js on the backend, with required React experience.
Experience with Google Cloud Platform and BigQuery, including architecting, deploying, and operating scalable services.
Experience modeling, querying, and optimizing MongoDB schemas for performance at scale.
Solid testing discipline across unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
Demonstrated staff-level technical leadership, including architecture ownership and mentoring engineers.
Ability to partner with executives and cross-functional teams to define strategy, requirements, and deliverables.
Interest in remaining on a senior individual-contributor track rather than pursuing a near-term executive or management path.
A track record of stable, sustained tenures at previous employers.

Benefits

Salary range of $185,000 to $240,000 USD annually.
Visa sponsorship is available.
Fully remote position open to candidates based in the United States or Canada.
