Responsibilities

Partner with the CEO, CTO, teammates, Design, and Operations to prioritize and execute the product roadmap.
Design, develop, and own complex full-stack features and software components end to end.
Deliver robust, scalable, and well-tested code across the full stack.
Shape platform architecture and establish engineering practices for a high-performing team and culture.
Mentor others and raise the effectiveness of the engineering organization.

Requirements

Requires 8+ years of software development experience, including 3+ years contributing to system design or architecture.
Demonstrated staff-level impact through architecture ownership, mentoring, and improving team effectiveness.
Strong full-stack proficiency with TypeScript or JavaScript on the frontend, Node.js on the backend, and React.
Proficiency with Google Cloud Platform and BigQuery, including designing, deploying, and operating scalable cloud services.
Experience modeling, querying, and optimizing MongoDB schemas for performance at scale.
Strong discipline with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
Experience partnering with executives and cross-functional teams to define strategy, requirements, and deliverables.
Consistent employment history with sustained tenure in previous roles.
Interest in remaining on a senior individual-contributor track rather than moving into executive management in the near term.

Salary: $185k - $240k/yr
