Staff Machine Learning Engineer in USA new

Responsibilities

  • Drive end-to-end engineering and machine learning methods for highly ambiguous, large-scale, and complex problems.
  • Build, experiment with, optimize, validate, and deploy machine learning models into production.
  • Establish scalable, efficient, and automated processes for data analysis, model development, model validation, and model serving.
  • Collaborate with Growth Marketing and engineering teams to ship ML technologies and services for user-facing products.
  • Present results and explain methods to leadership.
  • Mentor junior engineers and help increase ML capabilities across the company.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Math, or a closely related field.
  • Eight years of experience working on engineering teams that build large-scale, ML-driven user-facing products.
  • Demonstrated experience building and maintaining highly available, distributed systems.
  • Preferred experience with backend and ML systems for large-scale user-facing products.
  • Preferred experience collaborating with engineering teams to ship new ML technologies.
  • Extensive knowledge of deep learning.
  • Experience with advanced ML techniques including transformers, self-supervised pre-training, generative modeling, and LLMs.
  • Hands-on experience training and applying models at scale.
  • Proficient coding skills in Java, C++, or Python.
  • Self-motivation, curiosity, creativity, and initiative.

Salary: $15k - $261k/yr
